Smarter OCR with New OcrMode Parameter

We've upgraded our PDF to OCR converter with a new OcrMode parameter that lets you control exactly how OCR is applied to your PDF pages, fine-tuning your workflow for speed, accuracy, or consistency.

Parameters

• OcrMode (default Auto) - controls how OCR is applied to each page:
  • Auto (default) - OCR runs only where needed and pages that already contain text are skipped, for faster results.
  • Always - OCR is applied to every page, keeping existing text while adding recognition for images and other visual content, for full recognition.
  • Reprocess - OCR is applied to the whole page, replacing the existing text layer with a fresh one, for clean, uniform text layers.
