Choose the Font for Markdown to PDF

ConvertAPI

The Markdown to PDF converter now lets you pick the document font. The selected font is embedded in the output PDF, so the document renders identically on any device, whether or not that font is installed there.

Highlights

  • Nine fonts to choose from, covering the common web and office families.
  • The chosen font is embedded in the output, so rendering does not depend on the reader's installed fonts.
  • Code blocks keep a monospace font whichever body font you select.
  • Output PDFs now carry proper document metadata. The creator and producer name ConvertAPI and the title comes from the source file name, replacing the defaults the underlying browser engine used to stamp in.

Parameters

  • FontName (collection, default Arial) - the font used for the document text: Arial, Helvetica Neue, Calibri, Cambria, Times New Roman, Georgia, Courier New, Roboto, or Open Sans.
